As part of our project teams in the Digital Solutions business unit, you will implement challenging and varied projects with digital solutions. You will take on the role of technical contact person, take on customer requirements and requests in the project as well as travel to implement them on site. You will make a significant contribution to the success of our global customer projects and play a central role in the project team and customer communication.

Developing and implementing of concepts for digital product and software solutions together with the customer
Support in the preparation of technical offers and customer presentations
Development of system requirements and functional specifications based on the requirements specification
Converting system requirements into technical specifications and creating development documentation
Software commissioning and service at the customer’s site
Contact person for the life cycle of digital software projects
Participation in 2nd level support - taking over support times outside business hours and at weekends

Unbox your assets – your profile

Completed studies or further training as a technician with a
focus on electrical engineering, computer engineering, automation
technology or similar
Good programming skills (object-oriented/functional), e.g.
with Python, Java, Javascript, C#
Ideally experience with the technologies of our existing technology
stack (protocols: OPC-DA, OPC-UA, web services: REST,
SOAP, network analysis: Wireshark, operating system: Windows,
virtualization: VMware) and enjoy familiarizing yourself
with new technologies
Independent and structured way of working, good analytical
skills
Good communication skills and business fluent in English
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25% – 30%)
